Tony for Tracy Letts

June 16, 2008

“Writing is better than acting. You get to use your words, you don’t have to be there eight times a week, and I can guarantee you this moment beats the hell out of auditioning for Jag.”

-Tracy Letts, playwright, in his Tony Award acceptance speech for August: Osage County, after winning Best Play, June 15, 2008
